Members heard from witnesses who testified about current legislation before the Congress concerning campaign finance reform and the increases in staff and monetary resources which the Federal Election Commission will need to monitor congressional campaigns. The witnesses also emphasized that Congress should continue to support the Commission’s mission through appropriate funding levels.
