David Bossie talked about the impact on the 2012 elections of the Supreme Court’s decision on the Citizens United case. The decision opened the door to the creation of large political action committees (super PACs), which allow for large undisclosed donations. Topics included the First Amendment arguments made by Citizens United, the history of the case, the impact of the decision on political speech, and where the rules governing campaign finance go from here.
