Elizabeth Edwards talked with Andrew Rasiej about the use of the Internet in the 2008 election campaigns. She participated by webcam from her home in North Carolina. Topics included journalism on the Web, candidates' use the Internet, fund raising, the Internet as an information resource for voters, and the digital divide. She also responded to questions from members of the audience. Former Senator John Edwards joined her for a few minutes at the end of the program.

Personal Democracy Forum 2008 focused on how technology and the Internet are changing campaigns, elections and political media. It was held at the Lincoln Theater in New York City. close
