Prime Minister David Cameron addressed the United Nations General Assembly. In his remarks he talked about the success of the London Olympics and free elections following the “Arab Spring.” He condemned recent violence in Syria and said in order for Syria to move forward, President Assad must step down. On Iran, he reiterated that the United Kingdom would continue to support the full force of sanctions against Iran.
