President Obama and Prime Minister Cameron spoke with reporters following the conclusion of the G-7 Summit in Brussels, Belgium. Both leaders discussed the situation in Ukraine, the 70th anniversary of D-Day and relations with Russia. President Obama said Russia needed to recognize the new leader in Ukraine and expressed concerns about France negotiating with Russia on defense deals. When asked about the backlash from the trade the U.S. made with the Taliban for the release of Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl for five Guantanamo Bay detainees, President Obama said the U.S. leaves no one wearing an American uniform behind and that he makes “no apologies” for the decision. close
