Guests examined the history of the women’s rights movement and 19th century social relations through the writing of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Ms. Stanton drafted the Declaration of Sentiments adopted at the first women’s rights convention in Seneca Falls, New York in 1848.
The Seneca Community Players presented a portion of “Inequality of Rights” which included portrayals of Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Frederick Douglass. 
This program was telecast from the site of the women’s rights convention and included conversations with some of Ms. Stanton’s descendants and reenactments of the women’s rights convention.
