Byron York talked about his book The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy: The Untold Story of How Democratic Operatives, Eccentric Billionaires, Liberal Activists, and Assorted Celebrities Tried to Bring Down a President--and Why They’ll Try Even Harder Next Time, published by Crown Forum. Mr. York believed that despite Senator John Kerry’s defeat Democrats were gaining in strength for a political comeback in 2008. He was interviewed by Clarence Page.

Byron York is the White House Correspondent for National Review, and contributes a regular column to The Hill newspaper.

Clarence Page is a syndicated columnist for the Chicago Tribune. He began writing the column in 1984, and won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1989. He is the author of Showing My Color: Impolite Essays on Race and Identity. close
