The two reporters focused on two cases in the Supreme Court this week. In the first case, arguments where heard for a First Amendment challenge which questioned whether a journalist had fabricated direct quotes for an article. The subject of the article sued the magazine running the story. The other case involved a decision handed down by the Court on a school busing case in Oklahoma. The Court’s decision allows for school districts to discontinue busing policies designed to end segregation, if certain standards of equity can be proven. Mr. Cramer called this case an “opening of the door to back away from social engineering policies.”
