Tom Hayden, author of Ending the War in Iraq, published by Akashic Books, and Craig Unger, author of The Fall of the House of Bush: The Untold Story of How a Band of True Believers Seized the Executive Branch, Started the Iraq War, and Still Imperils America’s Future, published by Scribner, talked about their books. After both authors had made their presentations, they answered questions from members of the audience.

Tom Hayden served in the California State Assembly followed by the California State Senate for eighteen years. He was a founding member of Students for a Democratic Society and one of the “Chicago Eight” protestors at the 1968 Democratic Convention.

Craig Unger is a Fellow at the Center for Law and Security at NYU’s Law School. He is the author of House of Bush, House of Saud: The Secret Relationship Between the World’s Two Most Powerful Dynasties. Mr. Unger is currently a contributing editor at Vanity Fair magazine. close
