Standing before a large flag and facing a crowded room of supporters, Mrs. Bush introduced her husband as a man of family and country. Reading from a teleprompter, President Bush said he was running in order to finish the important work he started during his first term. He also brought up a number of values he claimed to believe in, which included personal responsibility and opportunity. The Vice President and his wife attended the ceremony but did not speak. close
