Representative John Boehner (R-OH) and Senator Rob Portman (R-OH) spoke to business leaders about the economy and the 2012 general election. In his remarks, Speaker Boehner reacted to President Obama’s middle-class tax cut proposal, saying it made no economic sense to tax those who create jobs. Speaker Boehner also said the House planed vote at the end of the month to extend all of the current tax rates. Senator Rob Portman focused his remarks on changing the tax code and reducing government regulations. close
