Douglas Elmendorf talked about Congressional Budget Office estimates that the federal budget deficit for fiscal year 2010 will pass $1.3 trillion.This year’s deficit is expected to be the second largest shortfall in the past 65 years. Mr. Elmendorf also responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
