Mr. Sikes spoke at a forum entitled, “The Broadcasting/Cable Interface,” on the recent cable regulation bill passed by Congress over the veto of President Bush. He discussed the financial effect of the bill on cable operators, and the limits of regulations created by the Federal Communications Commission. Following his prepared remarks, Mr. Sikes responded to questions from members of the audience. close
