Representatives of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the Human Rights Campaign Fund and the American Civil Liberties Union spoke in a news conference in the National Press Club to discuss the progress of the ongoing economic boycott of the state of Colorado. The boycott is in protest of Colorado’s passage of an amendment to the state’s constitution that would prohibit cities in the state from enacting laws to prevent discrimination based on sexual orientation. close
