British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson testified before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the British House of Commons, his first appearance before the committee since becoming the U.K.'s top diplomat in July 2016. Members questioned Mr. Johnson on the U.K.'s foreign policy strategy as the nation begins to extract itself from the European Union and continues its part in the fight against ISIS.* He said Britain was in a good position to maintain and grow its trading partnerships, and would remain vigilant against Russia’s aggression in Syria and in Eastern Europe.
