Columnists were interviewed about new political books and their influence on the presidential campaign. They talked about which books were selling well, compared the number of political books published this year with those published during the 1996 and 2000 campaign seasons, and recommend some of their favorite (and least favorite) books. They responded to telephone calls, faxes, and electronic mail from viewers.
