FAA officials announced that all Boeing 737 aircraft with more than 50,000 flying hours would be grounded to conduct wiring repairs. Recent inspections of some 737s has shown worn wiring which could lead to fires. This order effects about 15% of the nation’s commercial planes. Mr. McSweeney gave an overview of the directive and answered questions. close
