He related Lincoln’s use of disease metaphor and how that relates to American political life during the Civil War and Abraham Lincoln. He talked about President Lincoln’s view of how to treat the body of a sick nation, shifts in American political life and culture, and Lincoln’s own physical body. After his presentation, he answered questions from members of the audience. close
