Justice Brennan's body arrived at the Supreme Court where it was scheduled to lay in repose for public viewing. Before the Great Hall of the Supreme Court was opened to the public, a small ceremony was held with Brennan's family and friends and several of his fellow justices. Justice Brennan's body was removed at about 10 pm.
