Dominic Carter talked by remote video from New York City about the possibility of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg running for president of the United States. Mayor Bloomberg, once a Democrat, then a Republican, and now a registered Independent, is a long-time advocate of non-partisan politics. A video clip was shown in the background of him attending a non-partisan forum in Oklahoma early in the week. Mr. Carter, host and senior political reporter for “Inside City Hall” on the NY1 news channel, talked about Mayor Bloomberg’s performance as mayor, how he uses his wealth, his political positions, and whether he is expected to enter the presidential race as an independent. He responded to telephone calls and electronic mail. close
