talked about his new book, Blood and Oil: Memoirs of a Persian Prince. It chronicles the history of Iran over the past fifty years through the eyes of a member of the aristocracy. The prince served in the Iranian government in the 1950s and in 1960 was one of the founders of OPEC. Ms. Farmanfarmaian described some of the reasons for writing the book, most important of which was creating a better understanding between the U.S. and Iran. Following their prepared remarks, the authors took questions from the audience.
