The National Urban League presented its annual collection of essays from African American scholars. Several contributors to the publication discussed their essays, which looked at racial, economic and political issues in the African American community. Topics included segregation within the African American community, the current accounting situation in business and how it is affecting the African American community, and African Americans and the military.
