Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chair Jeff Bingaman talked about energy and environmental policy following the President Obama’s call for an increased focus on the issues during his State of the Union address. He also discussed the ability of a divided Congress to tackle energy legislation in the current session and his efforts on a clean-energy standard and negotiations to advance green energy credits using the payroll tax cut bill.
