General Tom Lawson, who is second in command of the Canadian military, talked about military relations between the U.S. and Canada. He began his remarks with a history of U.S,-Canadian relations over the preceding century before focusing on present day issues such as the war in Afghanistan and the impact of climate change on naval routes through the Arctic.
