Jim Bendat, an inauguration day correspondent for several television networks, talked about his book, Democracy’s Big Day: The Inauguration of Our President, 1789-2013, in which he traced the history of inaugurations going back to 1789. He also responded to questions from the audience. This event, held aboard the Queen Mary, was hosted by the Rotary Club of Long Beach.
