James Traub talked about his November 29, 2009, New York Times Magazine cover story, “After Cheney: Joe Biden Could Be the Second Most Powerful Vice President in History.” The story examines the vice presidency of Joseph Biden and his role in the Obama Administration and how his position compares to that of former Vice President Dick Cheney. He also discussed Vice President Biden’s influence on Obama Administration policy in Afghanistan and Iraq, and on foreign policy overall. He responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
