Participating by remote connection from the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site in Hodgenville, Kentucky, the guests discussed the special events marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Abraham Lincoln. C-SPAN and the Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission will present programs based on Lincoln over the course of the bicentennial years of 2008 and 2009. C-SPAN will cover a number of official events live. Mr. Waterston talked about his portrayals of Lincoln in a miniseries and through reading Lincoln’s speeches. The guests responded to telephone calls and electronic mail.
