Justice Betty Weinberg Ellerin, who served in the appellate division in New York for 20 years, talked about how the role of the court had changed since the 1960s. Betty Ellerin was the first woman to serve as presiding justice of the appellate division in the New York Supreme Court, and is a past president of the National Association of Women Judges.
