Mr. Halberstam was interviewed by Ben Bradlee about the influence of his 1973 book about how America became involved in Vietnam, The Best and the Brightest, published in a 20th anniversary edition by Ballantine Books. The event took place in the Regency Ballroom of the Omni Shoreham hotel. Following the interview he answered questions from the audience.
