Mr. Humes, a fomer White House speechwriter and historian, spoke about the life and times of Benjamin Franklin. He talked about Franklin’s experiences as a young man and printer in Philadelphia and his rise into social and political prominence. Following Mr. Humes' speech, Mr. Brock was presented with a gift from Dartmouth University.
