Democratic members of the U.S. House and representatives of other groups talked with reporters about President Bush’s Faith-Based Initiative. They opposed the initiative, saying it is unconstitutional. Rep. Nadler is ranking member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution which held a hearing on the initiative today.
