Bryan Burrough and John Helyar revisited the corporate takeover of RJR Nabisco and the Wall Street culture of the 1980's in the 20th anniversary of the publication of their book, Barbarians at the Gate: The Fall of RJR Nabisco. Mr. Burrough and Mr. Helyar recount the several key players that wished to acquire the company and the lengths they went to in the hopes of securing control during a two-month battle in the fall of 1988.
