Sarah Bakhiet and Janet Lipson are interviewed about their experiences teaching history and American government in public and private schools. Ms. Bakhiet and Ms. Lipson are two of the four fellowship recipients in C-SPAN’s 2005 Middle and High School Teacher Fellowship Program. This year’s program brings four high school teachers to the C-SPAN offices in Washington, D.C. to work with the Education Relations department in creating content and video clips for the C-SPAN classroom web site for the 2005-06 school year. In addition, the fellows are tying the video clips to state teaching standards.
