Special Inspector General Barofsky and Assistant Secretary Tim Massad testified about the quarterly report on the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) and Home Affordable Mortgage Program (HAMP). They focused on home foreclosures, problems with loan servicing companies and recovering TARP funds given in bank bailouts. Mr. Barofsky was particularly critical of decision making at the Treasury Department. close
