Bart Ehrman was interviewed about his book Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why, published by HarperSanFrancisco. A New Testament scholar, Professor Ehrman has written and edited about twenty books on early Christianity. His New York Times best-seller Misquoting Jesus documents the many differences in the 5400-plus existing Greek manuscripts on which the New Testament is based, and the problems this causes scholars. In this interview he also discussed his newest book, The Lost Gospel of Judas Iscariot.

The author was interviewed at Bryant Park in New York City during the New York Times Great Read in the Park. close
