Several immigrant authors talked about immigrant identity and assimilation themes in U.S. literature. Ms. Jong moderated the panel which was sponsored by HarperCollins Publishing. The panelists discussed the connections that were severed and those that remained among immigrants to their homelands. Following their discussion, the panelists took questions from the audience.
