A hearing was held on allegations of asbestos exposure at Smithsonian Institution museums. It was held in response to a Washington Post story about a worker at the National Air and Space Museum who was diagnosed with a lung disease. The head of the Smithsonian, Wayne Clough, testified in the first panel.
