Bruce Levine described the Civil War as the second American Revolution and Abraham Lincoln as a Revolutionary leader, in this talk with students at Western Illinois University. Following his lecture, Professor Levine took questions from students.

Professor Levine was a guest lecturer at an event organized by Professor Roberts in association with the visit of the exhibit “Lincoln: the Constitution and the Civil War” at Western Illinois University. This traveling exhibit organized by the National Constitution Center and the American Library Association Public Programs Office was been made possible by the National Endowment for the Humanities. close
