Government officials and legal advisers talked about the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) newly-released rule to protect streams and wetlands that provide clean drinking water. The Waters of the United States (WOTUS) rule was finalized on May 27, 2015, and expanded federal control of land and water resources. Ken Kopocis explained how the rule related to clean energy and said it was created because of confusion following U.S. Supreme Court rulings. close
