Generations United, a coalition of over 120 groups interested in increasing access to health care for all ages of Americans, sponsored a conference entitled, “Beyond Medicaid: Building a Health Care System for All Ages,” to examine the current system of health care in the U.S. In the forum, “Articulating a Vision for the Future,” panel members attempted to determine alternatives that would allow greater numbers of Americans access to health care. The panel focused on possible improvements to Medicaid, the social health program that filled in the gaps between voluntary employer based health insurance programs. They answered audience questions. close
