The Food and Drug Administration’s Arthritis and Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committees continued discussions in their joint meeting on possible safety of risks of “COX-2” inhibitors such as Bextra, Celebrex, and Vioxx. Participants suggested other studies that are needed to insure long-term drug safety.
