The committee considered H.R. 416, to establish a select subcommittee of the International Relations Committee to investigate the U.S. role in Iranian arms transfers to Croatia and Bosnia. Reps. Gilman and Hamilton, chairman and ranking member, respectively, of the International Relations Committee testified. Reps. Hoyer and Skaggs were also witnesses. The Rules Committee will mark up the legislation tomorrow.
