House Armed Services Committee Chair Buck McKeon (R-CA) said he was worried about the impact of total troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. He said that there was a lack of leadership from President Obama on Afghanistan and he had not supported the troops in their mission. Vice Chair Mac Thornberry (R-TX) joined him speaking in the Rayburn Building Horseshoe Lobby after attending a classified briefing for the committee. close
