Chad Griffin talked about the future of the movement for equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Americans both for the 2012 elections and beyond. Then featured speaker Newark Mayor Cory Booker discussed both his and President Obama’s support for equality. He talked about what he called the “common ancestry” shared by both the civil rights and gay rights movements.
