Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke about economic recovery and job growth at Kinzler Construction Services in Ames, Iowa. He criticized the economic record and policies of the Obama administration, in his comments saying, “What he did with what he inherited made the problem worse.” He then outlined his five-point plan for economic recovery. The proposal includes the elimination of some programs, increased energy production, increased trade and better enforcement of trade rules, tax reform, and job training improvements.
The Romney campaign referred to this speech as the candidate’s “closing argument.”
