The Congressional Black Caucus continued to hear testimony from witnesses concerning the issue of minority education. The topic of the second panel included the role of the family in overcoming the inequities of the education of African-American children. Issues presented included the changing structure of extended families due to liability laws, equity with majority schools and stressed families and their struggles to get their children better education. close
