Mr. Netchvolodoff and Mr. Brewster, who formerly worked with U.S. Court of Appeals Judge and Supreme Court Nominee Clarence Thomas in the Missouri and Washington offices of Sen. John Danforth, discussed their work for Sen. Danforth and their impressions of Clarence Thomas. Judge Thomas had been an assistant to Sen. Danforth from 1974 to 1977 when Sen. Danforth had been the attorney general of Missouri, and later returned to work in Sen. Danforth’s Senate office in Washington beginning in 1979.
