Attorney and anti-pornography advocate Catharine MacKinnon spoke during a luncheon at the National Press Club about problems of pornography and violence against women. She also described violence against women participated by the Serbian military during the then ongoing civil war in the former Yugoslavia. The Serbian army raped and brutalized women in Bosnia as part of their campaign of genocide against the muslim Bosniak population of the region. Following her opening statement Ms. MacKinnon took questions from the audience as moderated by the National Press Club president Calyton Boyce. close
