At the annual Bishop John T. Walker Memorial Dinner, Africare presented the Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award to former Department of State Secretary Colin Powell. Following remarks honoring him, Secretary Powell thanked the audience for the award and addressed the Darfur situation. Mr. Coles gave the closing remarks for the ceremony.
