World Bank President President Jim Yong Kim delivered remarks. Then White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice moderated a discussion with African private and public sector officials on infrastructure development on the continent.

“Powering Africa: Leading Developments In Infrastructure” was a panel of the U.S.- Africa Business Forum being held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C. It was part of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit held in Washington from August 4-6, 2014, to strengthen ties between U.S. and African leaders.
